Visa Information

Visa requirements for China depend on nationality, passport type, purpose of travel, and length of stay. Some participants may be eligible for visa-free entry or visa-free transit. As these policies may change, please check the current requirements before making your travel arrangements.

  • For official information on entry requirements and visas for China, see the Chinese Government information for visitors.
  • Shanghai also provides updated information on visas and visa-free travel, including the 240-hour visa-free transit policy.
  • If you require a letter confirming your participation in EcoSta 2027, you can request it through the registration tool. Invitation letters are issued only after registration and payment have been received.
  • Participants are responsible for obtaining the appropriate visa or confirming their eligibility for visa-free entry, and for providing any documents required by the relevant authorities.
  • The conference can provide invitation and participation letters but cannot provide other official documents, intervene in the visa process, or guarantee the issuance of a visa, which remains the participant’s responsibility.

For questions concerning conference letters, please contact the conference administrators.
