Sessions
EcoSta 2027 will have three Keynote Talks, four Special Invited Sessions, a significant number of Organized Invited Sessions on key topics, and Contributed, Virtual and Poster Sessions running in parallel during the three and a half days of the conference.
The conference will be partially hybrid, with a stronger focus on in-person participation. Some rooms will host sessions live-streamed via Zoom; the remaining rooms will be in-person only.
- Sessions will be in person by default. Organizers may request a hybrid or virtual format, subject to availability, until 15 April.
- Standard Organized Sessions should have either 4 speakers (100 minutes) or 5 speakers (125 minutes). Only a very limited number of slots are available for 3-speaker sessions, reserved for sessions affected by last-minute cancellations.
- Invited speakers should coordinate the format with their session organizers. Contributed speakers can present in person or virtually. Online speakers should follow the virtual area instructions.
- Last-minute changes from in-person to virtual are only permitted for hybrid sessions. Other presentations may be moved to general virtual sessions.
- Speakers do not need to submit presentations in advance. They can use a PDF on USB, download it on the room PC, or use their own laptop via Zoom. See the virtual area.
- Poster sessions will be virtual. Posters will rotate in a common Zoom session; presenters may briefly discuss them or wait for questions and comments.
Those interested in organizing a session or track should contact info@CMStatistics.org.
