Conference Venue

EcoSta 2027 will take place at the Pudong Campus of ShanghaiTech University, Shanghai, China. Information about the conference buildings and rooms will be provided in due course.

Campus locations can be found on the interactive ShanghaiTech University map (use your browser's translation function if needed).

Campus Access and Registration Desk

Participants should wear their conference badge while on campus. A passport or other identification may be required when entering the campus for the first time. Final access instructions will be provided before the conference.

The Registration Desk location and opening hours will be announced in due course. Participants can collect their conference badges and obtain onsite assistance there.

During the Conference
  • Conference rooms: Building and room information will be available in due course.
  • Coffee breaks: Locations will be announced in due course.
  • Lunches: See lunch information and the available dining options on campus.
  • Restaurants, cafes and shops: Several dining halls, cafes, and a convenience store are available on campus. Locations can be found on the interactive campus map. Please check the accepted payment methods before ordering.
  • Wi-Fi: Access information will be announced by the registration desk.
Practical Information for International Participants
  • Payments: Mobile payments are widely used in China. International visitors can use services such as Alipay and Weixin Pay (WeChat Pay) and link eligible international bank cards. We recommend setting up a payment method before travelling.
  • Bank cards and cash: International bank cards are accepted where the corresponding card logo is displayed, but acceptance may vary. Cash in RMB can also be used.
  • Mobile phones: International roaming or a travel eSIM may be convenient. Chinese SIM cards can also be obtained using a passport.
  • Internet access: Access to some websites and online services may differ from your home country. If you rely on particular online services, make the necessary arrangements before travelling.
  • Language: Some campus services and local applications may be available mainly in Chinese. Browser or phone translation tools may be useful.
Maps and Conference Information

Conference maps and practical information will be available digitally. QR codes will be displayed at the venue for quick access to the programme, maps, and other conference information.
