    Three independent tutorials will take place prior to the conference. Details are provided below.

    Dates: 13-15 December 2023.

    The tutorials are co-organized by the COST Action HiTEc that offers the possibility of attending to the 3 tutorials independently from the conference (see HiTEc Winter Course 2023. HiTEc also offers the possibility of applying for grants (see below). The conference participants can register for each one of the tutorials separately.     HiTEc Grants
    PhD students and young researchers, according to the COST definition (under 40 years), from eligible COST countries* can apply for a limited number of grants. The granted participants will be reimbursed a daily allowance of 160 euros per day plus travel expenses of up to 350 euros.
    • In order to apply for the grants, candidates should submit their CV by e-mail to hiteccostaction@gmail.com.
    • Deadline for applications: 15th July 2023.
    • Granted candidates will be informed by e-mail after the deadline and must send their flight tickets and registration 7 days after the notification to secure their grants. Otherwise, their grants will be revoked and assigned to other candidate.
    • The granted candidates must attend all the sessions and sign the attendance list in order to obtain their grants.
    *Eligible COST countries: Albania, Armenia, Austria, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Republic of Moldova, Montenegro, The Netherlands, The Republic of North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, Ukraine, United Kingdom and Israel.
    • The granted candidates must attend all the sessions of the course in order to obtain their grants.

    Indications for virtual participants to access the tutorials

    Please follow the indications to access the vitual room:

    1. Read the technical requirements and the general information that you will find in the virtual guidelines section carefully before entering the virtual room. Accessing this conference implies to accept the conditions.
    2. Log in the registration tool and keep your session open. Only registered participants with a session open in the same browser will be able to access to the virtual tutorials.
    3. Log in Zoom with the name and surname you have for the conference. The conference staff will check your registration to allow you to access the room.
    4. Click on the corresponding link above once available (a few days before the conference), and once you are redirected to Zoom, type the Zoom password that you can find on the registration tool.
    5. If you are not registered for the conference, or you are not logged in the registration and submission tool, you will get an error and will be requested to do that. Once you are logged in, please return to the web page that gave the error and refresh it. You can also return to your conference schedule and click on the session you wish to attend.
