Title: Algorithmic methods for parameter estimation in two-type branching processes

Abstract: Different approaches to parameter estimation in the multitype branching setting are discussed. We consider and compare various approximation methods which allow for an algorithmic estimation in the presence of hidden data. We provide examples of two-type discrete time branching processes, their simulations and numerical results.
