Abstract: Various general procedures exist for deriving representations of the exact distribution of the product of independent random variables. Such products are related to the distribution of many LRT statistics used in testing, for example, the equality of covariance matrices (equal samples size case), sphericity, independence of several groups of variables, compound symmetry and circularity. These general results are used to show that these can be used to address the product of particular choices of independent random variables, with the main contribution being the development of an R package showcasing its implementation.
