Title: Inference based on measure transportation for directional data

Abstract: A concept of directional distribution function, ranks and signs based on measure transportation are proposed. We provide some theoretical properties of the corresponding empirical versions and show how goodness-of-fit tests can be obtained. Our results are illustrated with Monte-Carlo simulations.
